Due to the COVID-19 quarantine, residents have expressed more interest in this year’s clean up event, so the Village will acquire another dumpster to handle the extra volume. Items we cannot take include: tires, car batteries, used oil or anti-freeze, items with mercury (such as tubes and florescent bulbs), hazardous chemicals and paint, appliances with freon and gas grill propane tanks. *Our residential contracted refuse service is Adkins Disposal -phone: (740) 349-0029. They take large appliances without freon, paint if its dried up (either open the lid and let dry or add kitty litter), mattresses and furniture if it is wrapped in plastic. You will need to call first so they can plan for extra help if needed.
