Hebron Mayor
The Mayor is elected by the Citizens of Hebron and serves a four-year term. The Mayor serves as the official and ceremonial head of the municipal government and as the presiding officer at meetings of the Council. The Mayor has all the judicial power granted to Mayors of municipal corporations by the laws of the State. The Mayor is responsible for the general management of the Village and for ensuring that all laws and ordinances are enforced, and oversees the Chief Fiscal Officer, Economic & Development Director, Income Tax Administrator, Police Chief, and Village Administrator.
Mayor Valerie Mockus was sworn into office on January 1, 2024. Her term lasts through 2027.
