Chief Fiscal Officer/Human Resources

The Chief Fiscal Officer is responsible for the fiscal administration of the Village of Hebron.  This position’s mission is to protect and maintain the integrity of the Village’s finances through sound, efficient, and ethical accounting practices.  In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code, the Village is audited every two years by the State of Ohio Auditor’s office to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting practice.  The Fiscal Officer’s responsibilities include planning, directing, and coordinating the collection, custody, and disbursement of public funds; managing and providing advice on investments; maintaining the municipal account records; signing all bond issues; and preparing the annual budget for the Village.  In addition, the Fiscal Officer handles the Human Resources for the Village of Hebron. Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance and guidance to the operating departments and employees in areas of employment including payroll, benefits administration, labor and employee relations, and personnel policies.
