Public Notice-Council Public Hearing (Zoning Amendments)

The Village of Hebron Council has scheduled a Public Hearing on
Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers, 934 W. Main Street, Hebron, OH 43025

The purpose of the Hearing is to review and discuss a recommendation from the Hebron Planning & Zoning Board regarding proposed Hebron Zoning Code amendments. The Planning & Zoning Board recommends the request be granted as presented.

The recommended amendments include:
• New regulations for Condominium Residential District (R6)
• Amendment to Appendix E (Zoning District Chart)
• Amendment to Chapter 1147 (Special Provisions-Fences)
• Amendment to Chapter 1179 (Subdivisions-Sidewalks)
• New regulations for Farm Animals (Residential)
• New regulations for Short-term Residential Rentals
• Amendment to Bed and Breakfast Inns
• Amendment to Appendix B- Schedule of Fees
• Amendment to Off-Street Parking
• Amendment to Home Occupations
• Amendment to Dog Kennels

UPDATE: the Special Council meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd has been CANCELLED.

Hebron Council will meet on Monday, January 22nd at 5:30pm, and Tuesday, January 23rd at 5:30pm to interview potential candidates for a vacant Council position. These meetings will take place at the Hebron Municipal Building at 934 W. Main Street, Hebron.
Council will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22 (G)(1) relative to personnel matters.

Vacant Council Position

Hebron Village Council is seeking applicants interested in being considered for appointment to fill a vacant Council seat. Village Council serves as the legislative branch of the local government and votes on laws and proposals relating to various topics such as community issues, safety, personnel and budget matters. The selected person would be expected to attend all meetings of Village Council. This appointment will fill an unexpired term that runs through 12/31/2025. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Hebron for at least one year, and a registered voter. Interested residents should submit a resume and letter of interest by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 to the Hebron Municipal Complex, 934 W. 3.      An application was received for a Variance. The applicant has applied for a variance for new multi-family residential construction for the property located at 3272 Hebron Road, Hebron, OH. Parcel # 078-334482-00.000.

January 24, 2024 at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers at the Hebron Municipal Building located at 934 W. Main Street, Hebron, OH 43025.

 

The purpose of this hearing is to review a recommendation from the Hebron Planning & Zoning Board for the following request:

The Village of Hebron has applied for a Zoning Amendment, in compliance with Zoning Code 1111. The applicant is requesting the property located at 3261 Hebron Road be rezoned from C1 – Conservation 1 District to M1 – Manufacturing 1 District.

The Hebron Planning & Zoning Board recommends the request be granted as requested.

A copy of the proposed amendment and an aerial view map are available for public examination at the Hebron Municipal Building, in the office of the Economic & Community Development Director and the public is invited to attend the Public Hearing.
